Job Description
- Develop PM schedule for Electrical equipment and implementation in SAP
- Ensure the PM jobs are done as per schedule
- Identifying the spares and ensuring they are available readily for Electrical equipment.
- Preparing the schedule for Conditioning monitoring and ensure its implementation.
- Preparation of Electrical budget, Monitor and control.

Scheduled maintenance activity:
- Monitoring, planning day to day preventive, corrective and activities on complete electrical systems in the plant.
- Attending to all break down maintenances and restoring the equipment s into operations timely.
- Scheduling of maintenances activities as per OEM recommendations to all equipment s/systems in listed tasks manner.
- Reviewing of pending notifications and directing in planned way for completions.
- Availability of equipment s

Shutdown & Overhauling maintenance activity:
- Plan/Prepares annual shutdown jobs and major overhaul activities in line with OEM guide lines. This includes day wise job scheduling for carrying the annual maintenance.
- Indenting the required spares and preparation of scope of work for services.
- Execute the major overhauling jobs as per schedule

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performance/conditioning monitoring / modifications / Developments
- To implement measures/initiatives for improving performance/efficiency of the electrical equipment in coordination with operations team & planning team.
- Raising the modification requests & executes the same for implementation.
- Planning, monitoring and execution of approved modifications safely, timely and economic manner and increase the reliability of the systems.
- Leading a CIP project and making team involvement in a orderly manner with specific roles thereby encouraging
- Responsible for adopting the best Engineering Practices, Systems and Procedures in the Maintenance and Upkeep of the Plant.
- Condition monitoring of 400KV switchyard equipment s & transformers.
- Plant Dc system (Battery Banks).
- Implement and execute the energy saving projects.
- Develop of the Jr.Employees skill sets for taking up higher responsibilities.

Auxiliary consumption reduction
Spares, services & Inventory Management -
- Identifying priorities in conjunction with maintenance HOD, identifying and ordering required materials, spares and equipment.
- Preparations of detailed scopes for various types of services activities outsourced.
- Execution and monitoring of out sourced services and completing in safe and timely manner.
- Receiving work orders and requesting work order, preparation of notifications & Service entry sheet through SAP
- Spares & Consumables planning, periodic inspection and monitoring prudent usage.
- Preparation of material codes as per MIDAS requirements and follow up for releases and extensions

Interaction with all maintenances agencies for resource planning for preventive, corrective and break down maintenance.
Coordination with manufacturer & supplier for smooth maintenances activity
State government authorities & Central government authorities to obtain statutory clearance/Permission
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
Daily interaction with HoD & Subordinates to discuss the maintenance priorities and work accordingly.
Interaction with operation department to facilitate their needs.
Interaction with C & C, F & A and stores in procuring materials and their utilization.
FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
- Maintenance Budget : Rs.2-3 Cores
OTHER DIMENSIONS
- Handling maintenance team with 3 direct employees and 5-8 indirect employees.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Around 9 years to 12 years experience for B.Tech/12 to 15 years for Diploma in commissioning and Maintenance of power plants of 100MW and above capacity.
