REPORTING: Head of Design.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:.
- Working alongside other Head of Design, client service, and production leads to surpass client expectations and deliver top-notch creative work.
- Uncovering and articulating strategic insights for creative briefs and solutions, fostering high-quality creative thinking, and effectively communicating these to both the team and clients.
- Taking ownership of the successful outcome of all assigned creative projects.
- Serving as a prominent figure within the creative team, establishing and upholding creative standards, and serving as a positive role model to empower the team to produce exceptional work.
- Offering a comprehensive approach to the team's creative process and encouraging them to consider the ramifications of their ideas.
- Confidently presenting creative concepts and persuasively pitching them to clients in high-level presentations.
- Collaborating with our Creative Services Manager to ensure efficient allocation of creative resources.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:.
- 12+ years of experience in a senior design role within a media agency or similar environment, with a focus on corporate branding and packaging design.
- Proven track record of leading successful corporate branding and packaging design projects, with a portfolio that showcases your creative prowess.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Demonstrates professionalism, confidence, and composure in high-pressure situations.
- Possesses strong organizational skills and an adaptable mindset to accommodate evolving project requirements.
- Has a keen attention to detail.
- Takes initiative and actively contributes ideas.
- Presents confidently in high-level client meetings, presentations, and pitches.
- Displays curiosity and encourages it within the team.
- Receives and provides feedback positively, while also guiding junior team members.
- Maintains a passion for learning new skills and encourages team members to do the same.
- Earns high trust and respect from both clients and colleagues.
- Exhibits strong leadership skills, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, contributing to the success of the team by sharing knowledge and assisting others as needed.
