Senior Business Analyst Job Profile Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team, playing a critical role in bridging business objectives and technology solutions.

This position requires the ability to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and convert business requirements into functional specifications for software development.

Essential Responsibilities :

1). Requirement Gathering and Documentation :

- Collect business requirements from stakeholders such as clients, end-users, and internal teams.

- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories in a clear and concise manner.

2). Process Analysis and Optimization :

- Analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

- Conduct gap analysis to determine discrepancies between current systems and business requirements.

3). Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (software developers, project managers, QA, etc.). to ensure alignment with business needs and to define functional requirements.

4). Feasibility Studies and Impact Analysis :

- Perform feasibility studies to assess the benefits, risks, and costs associated with proposed solutions.

- Create detailed impact analysis reports to evaluate the potential effects of solutions on business operations.

5). Business Process Modeling and Use Cases :

- Create detailed business process models, use cases, and user stories that effectively communicate requirements to development teams.

6). Facilitate Workshops and Meetings :

- Lead workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and ensure clarity on business needs.

7). Test Plan Development and Execution :

- Assist in the creation and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

8). Mentorship :

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts, supporting their professional development.

9). Industry Awareness :

- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business analysis and software development.

Desired Specifications & Qualifications :

1). Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst in the IT software industry.

2). Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.

- Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

- Experience with business process modeling techniques and tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.

3). Communication Skills :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

4). Work Style :
