About the Team :
You'll be part of Team Psigma, the Business Technology consulting vertical focused on delivering measurable outcomes to customers, by understanding business needs, pain points and coming up with solutions leveraging Technology. With a consultative mindset, we strive to be a trusted advisor, be it feature prioritization or tech strategy decisions of build vs buy, for various customer stakeholders.
As an analyst, you will be playing a key role across the full spectrum of Business Analysis activities, taking up responsibilities right from understanding customer's business context & key initiatives, identification & definition of problem statements, performing analysis & modelling of solutions to deliver value to the stakeholders. You will act as the primary interface between business unit end-users and systems/applications development areas.
You will be required to analyse business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs, elicit & document requirements, and address operations/process issues/improvements using tools & techniques to accomplish business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identifying & mapping business processes, eliciting requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, determining key metrics for developing and implementing solutions.
- Breakdown of the requirement into the relevant system components and write user stories to convey the same to the stakeholders.
- Proactively analyse the end-to-end flow to look for blockers and edge cases that the solution might not currently facilitate.
- Impact analysis on changes made to downstream and upstream systems.
- Interact with all levels of the business community, seeking approval from all stakeholders of the projects.
- Corroborate UX flow with the acceptance criteria to understand the flow and evaluate gaps.
- Provide a walkthrough of system level flows & requirements to the relevant teams with an overall understanding of the architecture.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to discuss processes and share findings.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Competencies :
Process Mapping :
- Experience in business process mapping, analysis, and improvement techniques.
- Understand & analyse complex end-to-end flows from a user as well as data standpoint.
- Requirement Gathering & Facilitation.
- Elicit requirements by gaining clear understanding of the need/problem & the desired end state or the As-is and to-be.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions acting as the interface between the various teams to own and manage the entire requirements lifecycle.
- Ability to progress the analysis and drive decisions to close open issue through discussions with multiple stakeholders.
Documentation :
- Experience in writing User Stories and producing Business Requirement Documentation.
- Must be strong in translating business requirements to technical resources (internal and external) in supporting the project.
- Experience using tools that record, track, and manage requirements like tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA.
Delivery Requirements :
- Ability to understand complex integrated enterprise systems layout.
- Experience working in Scrum teams, familiar with agile rituals in sprint settings.
- Constantly anticipate blockers due to functional/ technical limitations and raise it to the relevant stakeholders at an early stage.
- The candidate is expected to take ownership of the implementation and drive the same by co-ordinating amongst the various stakeholders.
Thought Leadership :
- Strong desire to continually expand knowledge and learn new skills with the intention of sharing knowledge assets to the practice.
- Conduct market research for various service offerings by analysing various industry reports & product-market trends.
- Support in the development, research and design of consulting and domain mindshare such as: articles, whitepapers, collateral development, eBooks, infographics, leadership forums, collaboratory sessions, Yammer, etc.
Desired Qualifications :
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Commerce and related field preferably with an MBA.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in business analysis preferably in an application development, digital transformation setting.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Experience of As Is / To Be analysis, Gap analysis, Requirements elicitation, Workshop facilitation & Business Use case development.
- Motivated, flexible and with a can-do approach.
- Good interpersonal skills, confidence, and ability to interact professionally with people at all levels
