Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:-

  • Coordinates all activities to ensure that information sought by the patients is furnished to her/him in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide support, information, advice, and follow-up to patients.
  • Protects the dignity and self-respect of patients.
  • Promotes the autonomy of patients and helps them to express their health needs and values to obtain appropriate information and services.
  • Safeguards the trust of patients that information gained in the context of a professional relationship is shared outside the healthcare team only with the patients permission or as legally required.
  • Applies and promotes principles of equity and fairness to assist patients in receiving unbiased treatment and a share of health services and resources proportionate to their needs.
  • Acts in a manner consistent with their professional code of ethics, responsibilities, and standards of practice.
  • Uses a holistic approach for the management and self-care of patients and their families.
  • To assist the patient care supervisor in the day-to-day functioning of Patient Care Services.
  • To visit all the IPD Patients daily and make their stay comfortable.
  • Responsible for ensuring high standards of Customer Care
  • Coordinate with various departments to identify the weakness in the system through patient feedback and take appropriate action to meet the gaps if any.
  • To facilitate OPD Patients.
  • To facilitate patients and attendants for new admissions.
  • Responsible for coordinating the discharge of patients.
  • To facilitate the guests/delegates who come for hospital visits.
  • Any other job assigned by the appropriate higher authority.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1-6 years of experience in front desk or receptionist activities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle telephone calls professionally.
  • Proficiency in handling cashier duties accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak periods.
