Over the past seven years, the Indian School of Development Management (ISDM) has garnered validation, support, and funding from esteemed individuals and organizations. While numerous programs worldwide aim to cultivate management capabilities for the social sector, they often reside within larger university ecosystems or business schools, where they may receive lesser attention compared to mainstream programs. ISDM stands out as the sole institution globally dedicated to fostering a comprehensive ecosystem for Development Management, focusing on pioneering work in critical areas.

ISDMs initiatives encompass:

1. Knowledge Creation: Establishing a Global Knowledge Hub to create, disseminate, and institutionalize contextual knowledge on building, leading, and managing social purpose organizations, networks, and platforms.
2. Talent Nurturing: Offering the Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGP-DM) to attract and develop top-tier talent capable of addressing management challenges within the sector.
3. Capacity Building: Providing Strategic Capacity Building programs to enhance individual and institutional capacities in development management, thereby fostering sustainable and scalable social impact.

ISDM has successfully completed its Proof of Concept Phase and is now set for expansion over the next five years. Key achievements include high placement rates for its PGP-DM graduates and plans for increased batch sizes, a new campus, international partnerships, and accreditation. The institute is also conducting research and establishing Centers of Excellence in various areas of social impact. Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and visionary Graphic Designer to join our team and support the development of captivating visual experiences across various mediums. This role requires a strong foundation in traditional design principles as well as a mastery of basic motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop engaging visual identities for print, digital, and social media campaigns, incorporating both static and motion elements.
• Translate brand strategy into impactful visuals through effective art direction, leveraging design and motion graphics expertise.
• Create high-quality design assets including layouts, illustrations, icons, and basic to intermediate motion graphics elements.
• Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, and other creatives to ensure cohesive messaging across projects.
• Develop storyboards and advanced motion graphics sequences to enhance presentations and digital content (proficiency in motion graphics software a must).
• Manage and provide constructive feedback to junior designers and motion designers.
• Stay current on design trends, best practices, and advancements in motion graphics software.
• Maintain a strong understanding of branding principles, user experience (UX) design, and animation principles.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Graphic Designer or a similar, senior design role.
• Proven track record of creating successful design campaigns across various media, incorporating both static and motion elements.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, color theory, and animation principles.
• Mastery of industry-standard design software, Adobe Creative Suite including proficiency in motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
