Job Description
- Handling project management and related activities;
- Coordinating with different teams who are involved in the project to ensure timely completion of tasks;
- Compiling and managing data generated from project activities;
- Assisting in data analysis and interpretation;
- Compiling reports in the required formats;
- Assisting in conducting workshops for stakeholders;
- Liaising with external agencies (government/non-government) as and when required;
- Providing support to other IIHS activities including academics, research, training, practice, operations and others;
- Participating in all activities of Institution-Building at IIHS; carrying out tasks as assigned by IIHS; and traveling on IIHS work within or outside the country as and when needed.
- E/ B.Tech in Environmental Engineering;
- A Master s degree in Environmental Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Agroforestry/ Agriculture would be an added advantage;
- At least 2 years of experience in managing independent projects/ grants including site implementation, technical and financial reporting;
- Experience in conducting capacity-building workshops;
- Proficiency in MS office;
- Strong organizational, communication and planning skills; effective team working and team management skills;
- Knowledge of written/ spoken Kannada would be highly desirable;
- Experience in conducting rapid social surveys would be an added advantage.
