  • Transition Manager:
    This position calls for a project management-driven role that is key in transitioning and
    onboarding new clients using our CRM solutions. We are seeking an Individual who would
    leverage his/her unique expertise to influence a move away from traditional accounting service
    delivery towards a more modern approach and efficient working practices, thereby acting as a
    critical change agent.
    The ideal candidate is inquisitive, hands-on, passionate, and highly consultative in nature. The
    transition manager (TM) will report to the VP HR and Operations and closely collaborate with
    the CEO and Senior Stakeholders to drive projects across Indevia. The individual will lead,
    manage, and drive (US) Accounting client transitions into our environment.
    Job Description TM:
  • Responsible for leading and driving new client and existing client transitions for the
    addition of new services (migrating, improving, and optimizing the business process into
    our environment)
  • Ensuring the satisfaction of client expectations and that company processes and
    procedures are followed and maintained, which includes all aspects of personnel,
    relationships with the client, and detailed decisions to make the transition a success.
    Undertake the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the
    Transition Plan to meet the strategic goals and interests of the Organization.
  • Analyze the current transition process to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop an understanding of the clients business model and information needs.
    Participate in client pitches as part of new business tenders or relationship-building
    opportunities, as required
    • Identify opportunities for work redesign, workflow enhancement, shift utilization, Staff
    mix, and staff utilization in order to meet / exceed internal financial goals.
    • Work with and support the sales team to ensure service agreements are consistent with
    our deliverables, educate the client on the requirements of a successful transition in due
    diligence discussions/meetings with clients, draft client solutions, etc.
    • Map the work process from client to Indevia, service delivery, client communication,
    and delivery follow-up. Ensure complete documentation of the service process. Since we
    primarily serve one type of client, create a service process master document and edit for
    each client.
    • Educate the production/Operations team on following the service process when
    necessary so it is documented and does not drift over time.
    Leadership:
    • Builds and maintains a departmental structure, operating standards, and practices that
    are responsive and adaptable to evolving business needs.
    • Managing team functions and utilizations, viz. workforce planning, facilitating
    recruitment, selection, induction, performance appraisal, training, etc., in line with
    overall business goals.
    • Develops and implements a talent plan to ensure the right people are in the right place
    to meet the organizations strategic needs at the right time.
    • Manages employee performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking
    progress against the goals, ensuring timely feedback, and promptly addressing
    performance problems and issues.
    • Manages direct reports to demonstrate the ability to effectively manage and develop
    their assigned staff.
    • Lead the transition team in terms of delivery timelines, service quality, documentation,
    cost, and client (both internal and external) satisfaction
    Team Management:
    • Shares knowledge, mentor, and educates the organization's staff regarding the
    company's vision, opportunities, and challenges.
    • Ensure company operation hurdles are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Supervise staff in accordance with the operational and revenue objectives.
  • Coordinate resource deployment across all processes for the engagement (Team Size,
    Span, Shift Utilization, Skill sets) in order to ensure budget & pricing assumptions
    compliance.
    • Identify training needs for team members.
    • Provide guidance and support to Transition teams on how to exceed client expectations.
    Requirement:
    • A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on accounting is highly desirable. But other
    qualifications demonstrating a deep understanding of accounting are also acceptable.
    • A minimum of 8-10 yrs. experience managing process improvement and transition
    projects to completion (and to be able to demonstrate tangible business benefits
    realization) - (onsite or offshore) – accounting /finance/BFSI is a plus.
    • Demonstrated success as an accounting process transition manager – experience in P2P
    or O2C will be a plus.
    • Leader with a service mindset who takes pride in growing the people she/he leads.
    • Deep understanding of how to use accounting to create value for the client.
    • Passion for using the best tools available to transform accounting.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit who is excited by the prospect of rapid growth.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong orientation toward customer
    service and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and
    non-technical audiences.
