QA QC Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer for our construction projects. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in construction materials, methods, and practices to ensure the highest quality in all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and other quality-related documents, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Checklists.
• Review and assess contractors' quality systems and procedures, ensuring they comply with project requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of the quality system.
• Ensure adherence to the required industry standards, local codes, and specifications for construction activities.
• Facilitate training for site teams to ensure understanding and compliance with quality standards.

Quality Control:

• Perform inspections on incoming materials and ensure they meet project specifications and standards.
• Conduct inspections during construction, ensuring that construction activities are in compliance with the drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Manage and track non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Lead the identification and resolution of quality-related issues at all stages of the project.
• Ensure all testing, sampling, and commissioning are conducted as per approved standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities, inspections, tests, and NCRs.
• Report on the status of quality management systems, identify potential risks, and suggest corrective actions.
• Review as-built documentation and ensure all quality records are properly archived for project closeout.

Coordination and Communication:

• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work with the project team to resolve any quality-related concerns or disputes.
• Ensure that quality issues are communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
