Job Title: Vice President - Project Monitoring & Recovery (Wholesale Lending)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead project monitoring and recovery functions for wholesale lending. The role requires expertise in project financing, appraisals, loan documentation, disbursement, project monitoring, and recovery. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills in financial statement analysis and loan portfolio management, ensuring proactive risk identification and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the end-to-end project financing lifecycle, including appraisal, structuring, loan documentation, and disbursement.

- Monitor funded projects through regular follow-ups, site visits, and promoter interactions.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and risk assessment of loan portfolios.

- Identify early warning signals to prevent defaults and take proactive recovery actions.

- Develop and implement strategies for loan recovery, including restructuring where necessary.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies.

- Lead negotiations with borrowers, promoters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely repayments.

- Collaborate with legal teams for handling NPA cases, enforcement actions, and litigation.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Requirements:

- Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, credit risk management, and loan portfolio monitoring.

- Hands-on experience with project monitoring, site visits, and early warning systems.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage large loan portfolios and ensure effective risk mitigation.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in wholesale lending, infrastructure financing, or corporate banking.

- Familiarity with RBI/NBFC regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.

- Strong decision-making ability with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
