Job Description
The role involves managing employee onboarding, orientation, and relations, supporting performance appraisals, and coordinating training and development programs. The individual will ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations, assist in compensation and benefits administration, maintain HR data, and drive employee engagement initiatives. Key skills include recruitment, conflict resolution, communication, problem-solving, and a solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs. Ensure new hires complete necessary paperwork and training.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries. Mediate conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems. Support managers in performance evaluation processes.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs. Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration: Assist in managing employee compensation and benefits programs. Answer employee questions regarding benefits and payroll.
- HR Data Management: Maintain employee records and HR databases. Prepare reports and analytics related to HR metrics.
- Employee Engagement: Organize employee engagement activities and initiatives. Gather feedback to improve workplace culture.
- Health and Safety: Support workplace health and safety initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Recruitment and Staffing: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs. Post job openings, screen resumes, and conduct initial interviews. Coordinate the interview process and communicate with candidates.
