iLenSys - Engineering Solutions, Analytics, Product Design & Development Team Lead Software Development Qualifications: Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for leading and mentoring the development team in delivering the application software for Analytical Instruments, IoT devices and embedded controls.
- Design architecture and code reviews of software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Project planning, execute, track and monitor the project progress, deadlines and deliverables.
- Manage team, workload, and provide regular performance feedback to team members and stake holders.
- Identify potential risks in projects and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success.
- Work cross functionally with other departments, internal and external stake holders to align the requirements and activities.
- Ensure the team adheres to coding standards, best practices, and performs thorough testing and debugging to deliver high-quality software
- Apply principles of SDLC and follow Agile methodologies and CI/CD work flows.
- Proactively seek new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the reliability, efficiency and performance of products.
- B.Tech, M.Tech in ECE or C.Sc, MCA or relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of strong technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- 4+ years of experience in application software product development for Analytical/Scientific instruments (Spectrophotometers, HPLC etc.), IoT and Embedded devices.
- 2+ years of experience in team lead role.
- Expertise in GUI development using .Net Windows Forms or WPF and Java JFC.
- Expertise in Java Native Interface(JNI) and .Net interops to use managed C++ DLLs.
- Experience in application workflow design and development.
- Experience in developing Device communication modules using Serial (RS232) and Socket libs.
- Knowledge in development web applications, REST API and IoT Protocols like MQQT
- Experience in Test driven software development.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using project management tools (Jira and Git/TFS).
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide feedback, and present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Essential Skill set:
- Hands on experience of managing complete existing product development activities (Namely Cost out, Quality and Product obsolescence) for product-based organizations.
- Good experience on existing product development process and working with remote team.
- Strong in mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills.
- Minimum of 5~8 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in Vendor Qualification, developing Manufacturing Quality plan, Tooling and component qualification & Thorough understanding of PPAP process.
Desirable Skill set:
- Excellent organizational skills required to manage small and large projects.
- Ability to apply engineering principles and practices in the design, development, and verification of possible solutions
- Ability to develop design concepts and turn into finished/product launch.
- Mechanical design knowledge ranging from component design to system level.
- Knowledge on either one of the below processes
- Knowledge of DFM & DFA with respect to ease of manufacture and assembly.
- Oversee testing and analysis of products to determine product performance.
- Knowledge of various fabrication methods for the manufacturing of metal and plastic parts machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and injection molding is required.
- Skilled in 3D modeling software (Solid Works) is preferred.
-Value engineering methodologies and how to apply them.
-Quality Project execution and standards such as Risk assessment, Root cause analysis procedures, DFMEA, PFMEA, ISO, etc.
-Obsolescence management
