Job Description
- The Lead Firmware Engineer shall oversee the development and implementation of advanced embedded firmware solutions
- This role involves leading a team of engineers, managing project timelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality embedded systems
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded firmware development, a strong leadership capability, and a passion for innovative technology
- 10+ years of experience in Embedded Firmware design and development with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Technical Leadership, Project Management, Firmware development, System Integration, Code quality & review, Testing & Validation, Documentation, Stakeholder communication
- Expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly.
- Extensive experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and SoC architectures.
- Proficiency with embedded systems development tools (compilers, debuggers, IDEs).
- Strong understanding of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.).
- Ability to interpret hardware schematics and integrate software with hardware components.
- Working experience on HMI/display interface is desired
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Prior experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
