Job Description

The role involves crafting and defining solution architectures and system integrations across a client s IT estate while ensuring adherence to standards and non-functional requirements. The candidate must collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, taking full ownership of the solution lifecycle, from requirements elicitation and design to development oversight and post-go-live phases.

Key responsibilities include providing leadership on critical designs, aligning with long-term roadmaps, and ensuring comprehensive design documentation that includes service, security, architecture, and engineering details. A passion for technology and strong skills in design and architecture are essential.

Expertise in AWS Cloud technical solution management is critical, with experience in orchestrating solutions across AWS services such as compute, network, storage, databases, identity, APIs, logging, and monitoring. The candidate should either be a qualified Cloud Architect or have experience working with platform or cloud architects, understanding service selection and rationale.

Strong stakeholder management is vital, including driving meetings, follow-ups, and achieving resolutions. The candidate should lead discussions across technical design authorities and stakeholder teams, ensuring alignment and approvals. A deep understanding of the solution architect process, including governance, standards, service, and security fundamentals, is crucial for success in this role
