The role requires expertise in both agile and waterfall methodologies, with a strong understanding of trade lifecycles, global regulations, and trading or investment banking processes. The Business Analyst will manage stakeholders, collaborate with project managers and sponsors to analyze requirements, and lead business requirement-gathering sessions to create specification documents. Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills are essential.

Key responsibilities include defining testing objectives, liaising with testing teams, and ensuring robust control environments. The role involves daily capital adequacy calculations under Basel III for counterparty, market, settlement, leverage, and large exposure risks, along with COREP reporting and regulatory submissions. Responsibilities extend to coordinating monthly capital sign-offs, responding to management queries, and improving data quality through upstream remediation and automation.

The analyst will support implementing new regulations by collaborating with IT and Change teams, enhancing controls through automation, and reducing manual reporting processes. Expertise in capital markets, regulatory reporting, collateral management, or derivatives operations is required.

Critical thinking, process improvement, and advanced MS Office skills are crucial. Additional expertise includes data analysis, root cause resolution, business case preparation, and agile methodology. The role emphasizes streamlining reporting, updating control metrics, and eliminating manual touchpoints through automation.
