Position Overview:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Manager to lead our HR & Immigration Department.
- This role requires an individual with 5-10 years of experience in HR operations, people management, and immigration processes, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
- The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, compliance, and innovation in HR and immigration workflows while managing a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Oversee and manage a team of HR professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide mentorship, and drive employee engagement initiatives.
Immigration Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to immigration laws and regulations, overseeing visa processes, work permits, and employment authorization for domestic and international employees.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to manage audits, filings, and compliance requirements.
HR Operations:
- Manage end-to-end HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding, ensuring adherence to company policies and best practices.
- Utilize HRMS platforms to streamline data management, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Process Optimization:
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HR and immigration operations to enhance productivity and reduce processing times.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Policy Development:
- Establish and update HR and immigration policies to maintain compliance with state and federal laws.
- Communicate policy changes effectively to stakeholders and employees.
Microsoft Office and SharePoint Management:
- Use Microsoft Office Suite for creating reports, presentations, and data analysis.
- Manage and maintain SharePoint portals for document sharing, workflow automation, and team collaboration.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with external vendors, immigration consultants, and legal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align HR and immigration strategies with business objectives.
People Management:
- Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing employee engagement programs and resolving workplace issues effectively.
- Lead workforce planning efforts, including staffing, succession planning, and talent development.
Training and Development:
- Develop and conduct training sessions for team members on immigration laws, HR processes, and the use of HRMS and SharePoint tools.
- Promote continuous learning and upskilling to enhance team capabilities.
Risk Management and Reporting:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with immigration processes and HR operations.
- Prepare detailed reports on immigration status, HR metrics, and operational outcomes for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in HR operations, immigration processes, and team management.
- Ability to prepare documentations and Presentations.
- Strong knowledge of HRMS platforms and experience optimizing HR workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding.
- Labor and immigration laws and compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Project management certification (PMP) or similar credentials.
- Experience in a multi-state or global operational environment.
- Knowledge of process automation tools and HR analytics platforms.
