Job Description:
- This is a full-time remote role for a Sales - Head.
- The Head of sales will lead a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets, generate new business, and build strong relationships with customers.
- He or she will also need to speak to customers directly to boost sales.
- The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in cold calling, inside sales, and team management in the Ed-Tech industry.
- This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for achieving results.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Cold Calling: Oversee and participate in cold calling efforts to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
- Inside Sales: Manage inside sales activities, including responding to inbound inquiries, conducting product demonstrations, and closing sales.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and making data-driven decisions to improve sales processes.
- Sales Training: Train and mentor sales representatives, enhancing their skills and knowledge to improve overall team performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals
Requirements:
- Master's from a Premium Institute.
- 7-10 Years of experience in Sales in the Ed-Tech industry with at least 2-3 years as Sales Head
- Experience in cold calling and inside sales is essential.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, a master's degree is a plus.
- Self-motivated individual with an affinity for working in a start-up culture (erratic hours as per the requirement of the business)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong Excel skills are a plus.
