Content Acquisition Executive

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Content Acquisition Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in content acquisition or related fields, with a focus on international markets. This role involves identifying and securing content partnerships, managing partner relationships, and ensuring smooth content delivery. The candidate will support the Content Acquisition Team Lead in achieving organizational goals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Outreach:

• Research and identify potential content providers, focusing on the US/global markets.
• Conduct initial outreach to prospective partners and generate leads for acquisition opportunities.
• Build and nurture relationships with content providers to explore partnership possibilities.

2. Active Discussions & Follow-Up:

• Maintain consistent follow-up on active discussions to keep deals progressing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address queries and ensure timely responses to potential partners.

3. Partner Management:

• Delivery Check: Verify successful content deliveries, ensuring all required assets are received.
• Monthly Delivery Documentation: Maintain and update delivery records to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Database Mapping: Organize and manage a database of content providers and titles for easy reference.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and address issues related to material deliveries, ensuring smooth workflows.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on content performance and provide insights to stakeholders.

4. Communication & Coordination:

• Support the team lead in preparing presentations and reports as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations.

5. Miscellaneous Tasks:

• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for content acquisition.
• Assist in tracking competitor strategies in content sourcing.
• Take on any additional tasks that align with the executive role.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years in content acquisition, content licensing, or similar roles, preferably with exposure to international markets.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain documentation, and meet deadlines.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data tracking, performance reporting tools, and databases.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to content delivery and partner management.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to support team leads and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
