Deputy Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing EHS aspects of Hub/ Fulfilment Centre/ Warehouse including supervision of staff to ensure delivery of objectives. Providing guidance on health & safety matters to region stakeholders within designated area of responsibility

• EHS Audit Management: Assist in OHS compliance review, in risk assessment & other EHS assessments such as External / Internal EHS Audit (Sorter, Fire Safety at Warehouses, Road Safety at Delivery Centres) and continuously improving these arrangements where appropriate.

• Providing strategies to plan and organize work systems to reduce health & safety risks. Conducting suitable risk assessments, ensuring legal compliance of health safety law and legislation.

• Develop and deliver training, mock drill for all levels of the organization to create a culture of safety.

• Managing reporting & investigation of accident / incidents, develop & implement CAPA to avoid its reoccurrence & strengthen safety system.

• Maintain the necessary records and report all accidents/incident, risk assessment, relevant regulations, maintaining EHS KPI leading & lagging indicators, includes EHS KPI dashboard, Incident & accident tracker for region.

• Review the EHS management system regularly & COVID guidelines compliance, support new initiatives, such as developing SOP, Checklist, OPL etc. to address sustainability/ESG concern. • Maintain a track on Climate change and Carbon footprints reduction initiatives. Supporting to implement the investors agenda on EHS / ESMS (Environment, Social & Safety Management System) framework, ESG requirements and employee’s wellbeing.

• Coordinate & support for health & safety management study in terms of pre-site selection or any new infrastructure developments.

• Good to have knowledge about ESG, ESMS, GHG Accounting & Assurance, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Sustainable Development Goals, IFC standards. Qualification:

• Minimum Graduate • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel and Word

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

• B.Tech/B.E in relevant subject.

• Diploma or Post Graduate in Industrial Safety and Environmental management
