Senior .NET Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .NET Core, AWS, and CI/CD practices to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying robust software solutions on the AWS platform. You will leverage your technical proficiency to drive innovation, improve development processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions using .NET Core, leveraging best practices and design patterns.
• AWS Integration: Utilise AWS services and features to architect, implement, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices.
• CI/CD Implementation: Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitLab CI to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
• DevOps Collaboration: Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Code Quality and Testing: Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and practices.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve system efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance problems across the software stack.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members through documentation, presentations, and mentoring.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends in software development, AWS services, and CI/CD practices. Continuously assess and improve development processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Expertise in .NET Core development, including proficiency in C# and familiarity with ASP.NET Core frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with AWS services such as AWS Lambda.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
