Senior Cloud Engineer

Position Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad.
• The ideal candidate will be an expert in Amazon Web Services (AWS), possessing a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD Pipelines
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline and optimize cloud deployments.
• Automate cloud operations and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, cost management, and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS.
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, Lambda, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch and VPC.
• Experience with designing and maintaining secure AWS solutions.
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as code tools), Primarily Cloudformation
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, WAF, DNS, and load balancing.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Windows and Linux OS administration experience
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous delivery (CI/CD) Tools such as Bamboo, Octopus deploy, Jenkins, and AWS Codecommit, Codebuild, Codedeploy and Codepipeline.

Highly Regarded

• Terraform
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are desirable.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
