Job Description

As a Linux Development Engineer you will be responsible for:

Developing, maintaining and fixing Linux distro packages specific to Power/ppc architecture.

Validation of Linux distro images using frameworks such as openQA.

You will be required to build, maintain and improve automation for installation of Linux Distributions.

You will also interact with the opensource communities such as Debian, Fedora an Ubuntu communities to upstream your work.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

1 to 5 years of experience in working on projects related to Yocto distribution, Linux distributions and build packages.

Strong programming skills in C, Python and shell scripting

Strong Operating Systems skills.

Working knowledge of Computer Systems Architecture.
