Db2 z/OS Technical Support Professional

Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Professional, you should have experience in a customer-facing role.

This role necessitates exceptional customer relationship management skills along with a solid technical grasp of RDBMS database

Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution

Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues

Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Have at a minimum, bachelor's degree in computer science or similar major.
Have a good coding and code understanding ability.
Very good English oral and written communication skill.
Good understanding of Database and how database structure works. Ready to provide customer service which requires persistence and professional customer communication.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Have information level understanding of the main frame z/OS operating system.Familiar with Db2 for z/OS database system and various of its functions.
Working experience of providing service to software database systems.
