Delivery Consultant – Technology Expert Labs

Responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. Technical Solution Workshops:Conducting and participating in technical solution workshops. Required technical and professional expertise

Must have minimum 7 - 10 years experience Configure cloud infrastructure and management solutions. Work with the DevOps team to provide cloud support and deployment for existing/new projects. Perform administrative processes for all cloud systems, including installation, backup, security, array management and software patching. Familiarization with AWS/Azure/GCP. knowledge of CP4I, Experience working with hosted applications or large-scale applicationdeployments. Good understanding of Linux tools . Solid development-level experience with multiple programming languages andexperience writing patches or pull requests.

Experience in configuring, deploying, performance tuning, Deployment and Administration of MQ

Expertise in installing, upgrading and migrating MQ in cloud and on premise environments. Involved in architectural planning and implementation for upgrade/migration strategies for MQ and Cloud Pak implementation. Having good experience in in design and implementation of MQ. Good knowledge in integration with MQ on premise as well as cloud systems. Working with MQ cluster for ease of implementation and workload balancing. Implementing the security features in MQ.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Knowledge of Linux, OCP, scripting language - shell/python etc.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) to automate tasks andimplement monitoring solutions. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat Middleware, Python (webframeworks). Understand IBM Event Streams and Apache Kafka concepts. Knowledge about the advantages of a fully managed Kafka service like Event Streams.
