Responsibilities

Role: Back-End Developer
Responsibilities:

Backend Development :Write, test, and optimize distributed systems for performance andscalability.

Event-Driven Architecture :Work with Kafka to manage high-throughput messaging and event processing.

Cloud Systems :Manage scalable systems deployed in the cloud, working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for deployment and orchestration.

Database Management :Optimize systems using Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and ClickHouse for real-time data processing.

Collaborate & Improve :Work in an agile environment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to system optimizations.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

5-10 years of experience with Java (JDK 1.8+) and distributed systems.

Familiarity with Node.js, Kafka, Dropwizard (or Spring Boot), Kubernetes, and Helm charts .

Experience in Docker, cloud deployment, database and high-scale data processing .

Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience with APM tools and distributed tracing .

Familiarity with React.js, Go, and Python .

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development .

Honestly I did not like anything in IBM. And remember IBM is a sinking ship now. It has lost all its previous glory.

Dislikes

Very toxic manager and team lead. Managers continiously demotivates you. They give negative feedback. And there is no job security nowadays. I was laid off few months after joining. Please avoid IBM i , IBM Z and IBM power system team. These teams are really bad. Apart from that , office is horrible. You will not get even tea or coff..Read More
