Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facilitys equipment and systems, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our employees and guests.
- Perform regular inspections of the propertys facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs
- Conduct preventative maintenance on various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment and systems promptly and efficiently
- Install new fixtures and equipment as needed
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and guests in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing tools and materials
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruptions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
- Strong technical skills in various maintenance areas, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in facility maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergency calls when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certification is a plus
- Valid drivers license may be required
