System Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Good experience needed along with knowledge on the Operating System (Windows 7 deployment and working experience must for DSS (Win7 Engineers).
2. OS imaging.
3. Should perform user account creation, deletion, and configuration.
4. Installing/upgrading Windows server OS to the highest versions.
5. Providing independent technical support for staff and users.
6. Managing user access.
7. Monitoring system performance.
8. Good to have experience in Active Director.
9. L1 troubleshooting experience needed along with knowledge on the Operating System.
10. Configuring and Troubleshooting of MS OUTLOOK (OST&PST, PST Backups).
11. To solve the technical problems remotely.
12. Experience of Software Installation.
13. DHCP and DNS
14. Troubleshooting the Hardware and Software problems.
15. Logging Tickets on priority basis of critical Issues using TICKETING TOOL.
16. Should have experience in troubleshooting the Desktop, Laptops, & Peripherals
17. Customer Service Soft Skills - Active listening, Taking Ownership, Treating the customer with courtesy. Demonstrate respect for the customer and professionalism.
18. Proactive thinking.
19. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
20. Proficient in English communication skills

Preferred candidate profile

.1 Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
2. Excellent organizational skills
3. Incident Management experience - Managing incidents including business expectations and communication
4. Basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration
5. Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7 and Office 2007, 2010
6. Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook 2007, 2010 within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)
7. You will be a self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service
8. Background Security Check required
9. May be required to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
10. Continually develops and maintains technical skills to ensure high-quality levels of technical support for end-users.
11. Responds to emergency or on-call situations in a timely manner.
