The Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales strategies across all distribution verticals, managing the sales team, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients, overseeing operations across all regions, and making credit term decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve business goals and revenue targets. 2. Oversee the sales team across GD & FD, providing guidance and support. 3. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base. 4. Meet with customers to build and maintain relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction. 5. Participate in Management Information System (MIS) activities to track and analyse sales performance. 6. Make top-level decisions regarding sales strategies and operations. 7. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. 8. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management. 9. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business objectives. 10. Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to motivate and develop the sales team.. 11. Manage and oversee operations across all regions. 12. Make decisions regarding credit terms for clients, ensuring risk management and compliance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or a diploma in engineering.. 2. At least 10 years of experience in sales management within the semiconductor industry. 3. Strong understanding of distribution models and online sales platforms. 4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. 6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 7. Willingness to travel to different regions as needed.
