Position Title : Chief Manager - BFS General Insurance (P&C Health)

Superior Position Title : Senior EVP Insurance Products and Actuarial

Location: Pune

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support the Senior EVP for the P&C as well as Health Insurance business on:

- Product and Profitability

- Actuarial and Reserving

- Technical Risk Management

- Underwriting

Principal Accountabilities:

Support the Senior EVP Insurance Products and Actuarial with:

Products and Profitability:

- Assist Sr VP in evaluating the current product strategy, pricing strategy + process, and product performance methodology

- Assist Sr AVP in developing/reviewing the framework for product management from launch to closure with technical documentation including profitability projection/management

Risk and Actuarial:

- Working with Insurance company Actuaries in developing framework for Reserve booking and management i.e. runoff process and assist Sr VP in oversight

- Assist in the review of the technical risk management process

- Engage with CFO, CRO and Appointed Actuary in creating a return on risk capital framework

Underwriting:

- Assist Sr. VP in evaluating the current underwriting framework

- Asist in the review of reinsurance treaties and process around obtaining new treaties

Relevant and total years of Experience:

- 8+ years of Experience

- General Insurance Industry experience mandator
