About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in turning data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
You will work closely with various teams to analyze operational data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities :
- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, cloud data warehouses).
- Perform in-depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and key drivers of business performance.
- Conduct statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Utilize data mining techniques to discover hidden insights and relationships within data.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio).
- Create compelling data visualizations (charts, graphs, maps) to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and documentation.
- Translate business requirements into data analysis tasks and actionable insights.
- Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business processes, optimize operations, and increase revenue.
- Support decision-making across various departments (i.e., marketing, sales, product, operations, finance).
- Leverage IoT and geospatial data (i.e., GPS tracking, sensor data) to optimize operational performance, improve customer experience, and identify new business opportunities.
- Explore and implement new data analysis techniques and technologies (i.e., machine learning, AI/ML, predictive analytics).
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the field of data analytics.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or a related field (i.e., business intelligence, data science).
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and independently.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with data mining techniques and statistical analysis is a plus.
- Experience with IoT and geospatial data analysis is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies is a plus
