Our client is a leading life insurance client.
Designation- VP-Actuarial- Pricing & Shareholder reporting.
Reporting to - Appointed Actuary.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing:
- To review pricing model and cash flow based on the product requirements.
- To review sensitivity and scenario testing.
- To review File & Use document for IRDA filing.
- To review the query response under product filings for IRDAI.
- To provide necessary support to IT team for setting new product/modification of existing products and features in the system and developing calculators for the system as and when required.
- To review testing the implementation of products in SIS and Ingenium.
- To perform Risk Assessment & Pricing.
- To oversee the procedure of Product Filing.
- To provide guidance to team members.
Embedded Value:
- To report the embedded value (EV) and value of new business (VNB) and do a detailed analysis of their movement.
- To analyze deviations between the actual numbers and planned business numbers
- To review and report experience analysis of persistency, mortality, expense, revival etc.
- To set assumptions using experience analysis for various purposes.
- To review and report risk based capital calculation to the JV partner.
- To review and report the reserves based on Ind-AS reporting.
- To report sensitivity and scenario testing on EV and VNB.
- To create IRDAI reports and prepare response to the queries related to above work
- To provide guidance to team members.
Education/Experience:
- At least 12 years' experience in Life Insurance industry preferably in Pricing and Shareholder Reporting.
- Qualified actuary.
