Manager - Projects - Food Systems BU

Role & responsibilities

• Role entails understanding of processing details of fruit/ pulp/ juice/ beverage/ dairy products, etc.
• Product & applications engineering for heat exchangers & heat exchanger based pasteurizers, sterilizers, CIP, evaporation systems, turnkey process lines including thermal & mechanical aspects.
• Development of new application areas, logic and automation for food processing focus sectors for generating business.
• Development of process design, standardization, documentation manuals, and troubleshooting support.
• Managing food processing systems projects from detailed engineering to commissioning.
• Guidance to team for project plan and timely execution of projects, and site activities.
• Coordination with internal and external entities to ensure streamlined project delivery and site activities.
• Enabling meetings, technical discussions, project status review and alignment with Customer.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate must have exp. in designing of equipment/ systems/ turnkey plants to process tropical fruit/ juice/ fruit pulp/ beverages/ dairy.
• Experience and/ or knowledge of food, fruit, juice, beverage, dairy, or similar process plant.
• Must have experience of planning, scheduling, and managing projects.
• Knowledge of software such as MS projects, piping, AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc. shall be an added advantage.
• Experience of handling a team for projects, commissioning, execution, or similar functions is preferred.
• Knowledge of fabrication requirements for the food process industry to guide the project team is preferred.
