Build and scale the automation solutions business for Agitated Nutsche Filters Dryers.
Roles & Responsibility:
1. Business Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to achieve Optimum revenue target within three years.
- Identify and capture new market opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline and driving business development initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to refine the product offering and strengthen the value proposition.
2. Customer Engagement & Deal Closure :
- Lead technical and commercial discussions with customers, particularly their process and instrumentation teams.
- Oversee feasibility studies and process analyses to provide tailored automation solutions.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
3. Project Management Excellence :
- Ensure timely and successful execution of complex projects while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Navigate and resolve complexities in both internal (R&D, execution, sales) and external (customer contracts, pricing) negotiations.
4. Team Leadership & Coordination :
- Entire automation team will report to this role, technical as well as business development
- Collaborate effectively with the existing sales manager, R&D, and execution teams to ensure cohesive operations and delivery.
- Cultivate a startup-like culture focused on innovation, agility, and ownership within the automation business.
- Define KPIs and metrics to measure and drive the success of the automation vertical.
5. Financial and Operational Oversight:
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L for the automation solutions vertical.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Implement systems to track and improve project efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields). MBA or equivalent in Business Management is preferred.
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in automation, industrial solutions, or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in scaling a business or product line, ideally in process automation or industrial solutions for chemical/pharma industries.
- Strong background in process engineering, instrumentation, and automation technologies.
- Expertise in managing multi-stakeholder projects.
