Job objective- The objective is to oversee demand planning and sales & operations planning process, which aims to align sales forecasts with production and inventory plans to efficiently meet demand. The incumbent will play crucial role in maintaining a well-functioning supply chain and meeting customer demands while optimizing inventory levels and operational costs.

Knowledge (Technical / Functional) Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Power BI Proven experience in demand planning/ Sales and operation planning coordination Exposure to demand planning software, AIML tools

Main job responsibilities:

- Identifying demand patterns using statistical methods/ AIML based tools and adjusting forecasts to accommodate seasonality, promotions, or market events

- Leading and coordinating the sales and operation process

- Collaborating with sales, marketing, manufacturing, R&D and finance teams to gather relevant data and insights

- Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators related to sales and operation , such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and customer service levels

- Analysing and presenting data to support decision-making during sales and operation milestones

- Ensuring that sales forecasts and production plans are aligned to avoid overstocking or stock outs

- Identifying potential supply chain bottlenecks and proposing solutions to improve overall efficiency

- Supporting new product launches and phasing out products based on demand trends

- Collaborating with the finance team to ensure that the sales and Operation plans align with financial objectives and budget constraints.
