They are currently seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Business Development Manager Retail at their office in New Delhi.

Designation: Business Development Manager Retail.
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in BD/Sales (for furniture, home furnishings, or related interior decor based industries).
Company strength: 3,800+ employees.
Office location: Mehrauli Gurgaon Road, Village Sultanpur, New Delhi.
Work Days: 6 days working (including Sat-Sun, weekly off would be in the week Mon-Fri).
Candidate Location: Delhi/Gurgaon/nearby candidates only will be preferred for this role.

The supply chain can deliver over 200,000 SKUs, chosen from a diverse range of products, including furnishing fabric, embroidered fabric, yarn, ready-mades, velvets, and wallpapers. Role summary:
Our client is seeking an an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager Retail to drive their sales operations and expand their footprint in the institutional and retail sectors. This is a key role focused on generating revenue through project sales and developing a strong network of architects, interior decorators, and builders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project sales within furniture, home furnishings, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and influencers, keeping them informed of new collections in-store.
- Collaborate with the head office marketing team to identify new sales channels, including institutional and hospitality sectors.
- Develop and expand the customer base, unrestricted by geography.
- Network and build a robust database of architects, interior decorators, and builders.
- Drive revenue through project sales and suggest branding activities in the institutional sector.
- Cultivate long-term customer relationships by understanding their current and future requirements.
- Analyze market, industry, and competitor trends to inform marketing and sales strategies.
- Plan and manage store visual and merchandise displays, ensuring the implementation of sales and promotional activities.
- Monitor point-of-sales activities, including sales transactions, payment tracking, inventory updates, and customer feedback.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Education: Graduate/MBA.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in project sales (furniture, home furnishings, or allied industries).
- Strong networking skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and plan strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
