National Sales Head
Summary :
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven India Sales Head to lead Sales, Business Development, and Revenue Management within their B2B business. The focus will be driving growth within the Corporate & Institutional segment.
The ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of experience in B2B sales and business development, including proven leadership experience. A strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem is desired, with preferred experience in areas such as health insurance, diagnostics, consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or related sectors.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, cultivating strong relationships with key corporate and institutional clients, and driving revenue growth through innovative solutions. This leader will build and manage a high-performing sales team, expand market share, and ensure profitability.
Major Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement a country-wide corporate & institutional sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and establish partnerships with corporates, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and institutions to expand business opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth by developing customized solutions for corporate clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the competition.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in corporate and institutional sectors.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and operations) to deliver value-driven solutions.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
Operational & Financial Responsibilities
- Drive P&L responsibility for corporate & institutional sales.
- Ensure efficient pricing, budgeting, and forecasting to maximize profitability.
- Implement data-driven decision-making and CRM tools for performance tracking.
Key Requirements:
- MBA or an equivalent degree.
- 15+ years of sales and business development experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in B2B sales and business development, including leadership roles; understands healthcare and has preferably worked in sectors such as health insurance, diagnostics, consumer healthcare or related industries
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, acquiring corporate clients, and closing deals.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Experience in leading and scaling high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of corporate healthcare needs, employee wellness programs, and institutional partnerships.
