Unit Manager - Central Operations

Role & responsibilities:

• Process Improvements & Technology Enablement
• Compliance Management & Reporting
• Repayments Operations Management - Ensure timely and accurate NACH registration and banking, adhering to defined TAT.
• Maintain TAT across all operational processes, including foreclosure, maturity closure, cancellations, excess amount reconciliation, interest refund, part payments, PDC maintenance, EMI presentations, and MIS updates.
• Manage receipting processes, ensuring error-free and timely updates.
• Drive productivity improvement initiatives and provide training to enhance team performance.
• Lead and support projects focused on process quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory guidelines and operational risk frameworks, including audits.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing queries and ensuring process adherence.
• Manage talent within the team, fostering development and engagement.
• Identify and re-engineer processes on an ongoing basis and take corrective action in a timely manner without disrupting regular business operations
• Be up to date in the know-how of the industry and the latest changes in the payments governance from RBI & NPCI perspectives.

Skill Sets & Qualifications :

• The skills required for this role are business acumen, goal orientation and working effectively with the teams.
• Education and experience required for this role is postgraduate with minimum 8- 10 years of work experience in central operations in the banking / lending domain.
