Generative AI Developer - LLM Models (5-8 yrs)

Job Title : Generative AI Specialist & Product Lead

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Generative AI Implementation and Integration :

- Drive the end-to-end implementation of Generative AI solutions across various teams in our EdTech organization, including products, operations, marketing, finance, sales, data, etc.

- Build and automate AI-powered workflows to optimize internal processes, reduce manual tasks, and improve efficiency.

- Create AI-based tools and systems for enhancing EdTech offerings, improving ads, organic marketing, data analytics, operational efficiencies, etc.

2. Product Ownership and Delivery :

- Take complete ownership of AI-driven products, from ideation to execution and deployment.

Ship new AI-powered features weekly, ensuring scalability, usability, and performance.

- Monitor performance and iterate on tools/products based on feedback and measurable outcomes.

3. Strategic Collaboration with Leadership :

- Work directly and closely with the founders on a daily basis to align AI initiatives with business goals and contribute to high-impact strategic decisions.

- Be the go-to person for leveraging AI insights to shape the company's vision and roadmap.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Coordinate with multiple teams, including marketing, operations, finance, sales, product, etc., to identify use cases for AI and design tailored solutions.

- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to communicate insights and ensure smooth implementation of AI initiatives.

5. Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor small teams of analysts, developers, or operational staff when needed.

- Ensure collaboration across functions and timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

6. Client-Facing Solutions :

- Once internal AI implementations are streamlined, spearhead the development of custom GenAI products and solutions for external client leads in the edtech space.

- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to identify client needs and deliver impactful AI-driven offerings.

Must-Have Skills :

- Expertise in Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion) and their real-time practical applications.

- Hands-on knowledge of Custom LLM implementation, RAG implementations

- Strong command over Python, APIs, and AI/ML frameworks for model fine-tuning and deployment.

- Proven ability to ship AI-driven products at speed while ensuring quality and impact.

- Leadership skills to manage teams and take ownership of outcomes.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for model deployment.

- Knowledge of AI integrations in edtech (e.g., tools for accessibility, teaching assistants, automated grading).

- Familiarity with No-Code/Low-Code AI tools for faster prototyping.

- Experience working with client-facing AI products and handling customer requirements.

Professional Background

AI/ML Experience : Minimum 5+ years in AI/ML roles involving the development and deployment of machine learning systems and models.

Generative AI Experience : Proven experience in Generative AI implementation, tool building, and product development.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Equivalent

experience is also acceptable.

- Candidates from IIT or similarly reputed institutions are preferred. Founding experience in AI startups is a strong advantage.
