Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Software Sales Representative to join our team. As a Software Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, building relationships with potential customers, and selling our software solutions to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outbound calls.
2. Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs and pain points.
3. Software Demonstrations: Deliver compelling software demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our solutions.
4. Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
5. Account Management: Manage existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
6. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
7. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years of software sales experience: Proven track record of success in software sales. Should be able to do door to door marketing,
2. Bachelor's degree: In Business, Marketing, or a related field.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
4. Strong negotiation and closing skills: Ability to negotiate and close deals.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze customer needs and develop solutions.
7. Equipment & Mobility: Candidates should have a vehicle with a valid RC and DL (if required for local travel).
Nice to Have:
1. Experience with CRM software: Familiarity with CRM softwares.
2. Knowledge of the education technology industry: Understanding of the education technology industry and trends.
3. Certifications or training in sales or marketing: Certifications or training in sales or marketing, such as HubSpot Sales Training.
