As a Datacenter IT Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for understanding requirements/problem statements from business functions and building enterprise architectures that meet those needs. This role is centered on managing enterprise-wide standards for datacenter platform, compute and storage, which can be utilized by various business units. Responsibilities also include working closely with vendors, internal resources and outsourced resources for evaluation, reference architectures and functional standards. You will own and lead the product evaluation of new emerging technologies in the market including AI/GenAI capabilities, conduct hands-on testing of these products in EA Lab, create scores to rate, recommend preferred business applications, and develop architecture to onboard and integrate them with other on-premises/cloud-hosted/SaaS applications as applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop architecture for platform, compute and storage infrastructure.

Develop next-generation composable architecture for Datacenter/

Work closely with system engineers to establish an EA lab function to accelerate new technology and design pattern validations

Be the technical Datacenter Technology SME for EA organization for other EAs and in the EA Lab to conduct proof-of-concept and proof-of-technologies

Support development of technical strategy to roadmap Honeywell s global datacenter portfolio.

Work closely with outsourced resources for infrastructure development, support, and optimization.

Recommend preferred solutions based on evaluations and develop architectures to onboard and integrate them.

Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to modernize and standardize IT solutions based on Global Design Model (GDM).

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline

4+ years of experience as architect/designer for enterprise datacenters including traditional converged infrastructure, hyperconverged infrastructure and HPC infrastructure.

4+ years of experience senior operational role within an enterprise datacenter organization.

Understanding of RESTful api used for infrastructure automation.

Understanding of AI and GenAI technologies to apply to appropriate use cases

WE VALUE

Experience with hosting large scale enterprise applications such as as SAP.

An advanced certification such as a Vmware VCAP, Nutanix NCP-MCI,ITIL 4 MP or SP.

Experience in architecting and managing process critical infrastructure,

Interest in building architectures as well as hands-on learning

Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture framework, principles, and tools

Proven people skills, working successfully in a team context with co-workers, clients, and managers across multiple functions and geographies

High-pace environment with extreme ownership to deliver on committments

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate across borders.

Ability to set priorities and remain flexible in a changing environment.
