Job Description
As a Project Lead, you will play a crucialrole in driving innovation and technical excellence within our developmentteam. Leading a team of highly skilled developers, you will contribute to theentire development of an IoT platform to monitor critical assets and driveoperational efficiency
Key Responsibilities - Oversee product development activities, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure successful execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to build and deliver the product roadmap
- Lead product design and development, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and alignment with product or program specifications
- Recruit, develop skills, and manage the career and performance of a team of 10-12 developers
- Establish engineering practices to drive efficiency in product development while maintaining high-quality standards
- Mentor and guide team members to resolve technical challenges during development
- Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to resolve risks and dependencies
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into product development
Requirements:
- Overall 10+ years of experience in software product development
- Hands-on experience in software development using Microsoft .NET technology and React JS
- Experience in building cloud-agnostic, microservices-driven system architecture
- Experience in managing large-scale distributed systems with high availability and performance
- Knowledge of AI/ML for predictive analytics
- Experience in deploying visual and metrics-based management practices in agile teams for effective scope, quality, and schedule management in collaboration with business and functional stakeholders
- Knowledge of IoT protocols like MQTT, CoAP, WebSockets, HTTP/REST, and OPC-UA is a plus
- Experience in leading Agile teams in SAFe release trains is a plus; we value Agile and SAFe certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proven ability to drive successful cloud development projects and initiatives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability
- bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Understanding various software development lifecycle
- Some relevant experience
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
- Effective communicator
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
- Ability to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization.
- Consistently making timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
