Job Description
Embedded Engr -II
Honeywell prides itself in excelling in a highly competitive market providing state-of-the-art solutions. The engineers at Honeywell constantly adapt and upgrade to the latest and futuristic technology that keeps us ahead of time. Must have experience in interfacing different types of sensors, wireless protocols ( BLE, WiFi , LoRA etc ) . Must have experience in Microcontroller and Microprocesser based product development. Having edge processing skill will add more edge to our domain. As part of this motivated team, you are expected to work and excel in all the phases of product development starting from Idea conception to product delivery.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 4+ years experience in Embedded Domain, [ ARM Microprocessor Platform & ARM Microcontroller Platform].
- Working experience in Embedded Linux, RTOS and BareMetal Programming
We Value:
- Should be strong in C, C++
- Should have 3+ years experience in ARM-based platforms (TI, NXP, etc.)
- Should have 3+ years of working experience in customizing Device trees, device drivers, bootloaders, board bring-up
- Worked on bootloader development
- Should have strong knowledge on communication protocols I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, ADC, PWM etc .
- Should have strong knowledge on driver development for the sensors
- Should have good analytics and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Linux / RTOS file handling, memory management & process mechanism.
- Working experience in TPM, secure boot, and OTA firmware upgrade is a plus
- Experience in Display drivers, WiFi drivers, and Ethernet Phy drivers is a plus
- Strong experience in automation testing
- Working experience in CVEs is a plus
- Familiarity with SDLC & Agile methodology
- Experience with version control systems like GIT (preferred) / SVN.
- Familiarity with Jira
- Generate innovative Ideas, Visit customers as part of OVOC (observational Voice of Customer) activities
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Familiarity with computer languages, C/C++
- Experience working in embedded software architectures
- Solid communication and collaborative skills
- Knowledge of wireless technology
- Some relevant experience
