KEY SKILLS ( MANDATORY) : Service Design and Transition with ITSM

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of new services, including service definition, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational procedures.

- Oversee the transition of new services into production, ensuring a smooth and timely go-live.

- Manage and optimize existing services, identifying and implementing improvements to service quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

- Develop and maintain service catalogs and knowledge bases.

- Conduct service reviews and impact assessments.

- Ensure compliance with IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, including ITIL frameworks.

- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including service owners, customers, and technical teams, to ensure successful service delivery.

- Identify and mitigate service risks and issues.

- Monitor and analyze service performance metrics and KPIs.

- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.

- Mentor and guide junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 9+ years of experience in Service Design and Transition within an IT Service Management environment.

- Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks, particularly ITIL.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing new services.

- Experience in service level management, including SLA definition, negotiation, and monitoring.

- Experience in service transition planning and execution.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with service desk operations is a plus.

- Experience with service management tools is a plus (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
