Liabilities Products: Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Savings Accounts, and Special Deposit Schemes tailored for individuals and SMEs.

Loan Products: Personal Loans, Gold Loans, Micro-Finance Loans, and Business Loans designed to support the financial needs of local communities.

Competition & Market Context:

Operating in Kerala's bustling NBFC and banking landscape, the organization faces competition from established names like ESAF Small Finance Bank, Manappuram Finance, Muthoot Fincorp, and local banks. Despite the competitive environment, it stands out for its personalized customer service, strong regional foothold, and quick turnaround times for both deposits and loans.

With an expanding client base and rising demand for safe, reliable deposit products, the organization is poised for further growth. To scale new heights, we seek a Head of Sales - Liabilities with a proven track record in driving sales, strategizing deposit mobilization, and leading high-performance teams in the NBFC or banking sector.

The role is based on site in Thrissur.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for liability products (e.g., Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Savings Schemes) to meet and exceed business targets.

- Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and strategic alliances that maximize deposit mobilization.

Team Management & Development:

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance sales team across Kerala and neighboring states.

- Conduct periodic performance reviews, training sessions, and skill development initiatives to foster a culture of continuous growth.

Business Development & Relationship Management:

- Drive relationships with key stakeholders, channel partners, and local influencers to strengthen brand visibility and deposit growth.

- Implement community outreach programs to enhance presence and reputation within Kerala's local markets.

Sales Performance & Analytics:

- Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets, track progress, and ensure timely interventions to address performance gaps.

- Leverage data analytics to understand customer behavior, analyze deposit trends, and refine sales strategies.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

- Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure that all sales activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations.

- Implement processes to mitigate risks related to liabilities mobilization while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:

- Stay informed on competitor strategies, deposit rates, and NBFC market movements to help the organization stay ahead.

- Provide leadership with insights and recommendations for new product development or enhancements to current liability products.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive sales experience in NBFCs/Banks, focusing on liabilities products.

Language: Fluent in Malayalam (spoken) is essential; proficiency in English is also required.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in delivering on sales targets, deposit growth, and building robust sales teams.

Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of RBI/NBFC guidelines related to deposits and compliance.
