HRBP Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HRBP Lead to develop and execute HR strategies in close partnership with the leadership team. This role will be based at our headquarters in Bengaluru and will lead HR for multiple verticals, managing a small team of direct reports. It provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that blends traditional retail/FMCG with a fast-paced startup culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Workforce Planning & Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with business leaders and finance to plan and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring workforce alignment with business goals.
- Identify workforce requirements based on growth strategies, productivity targets, and market expansion.
- Partner with business heads to drive organizational goals by providing strategic HR solutions.
- Regularly engage with stakeholders, attend review meetings, and conduct market visits to enhance business alignment.
- Proactively track attrition, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret and implement HR policies effectively while addressing employee queries within defined timelines.
Talent Management & Development:
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring timely goal setting, reviews, and evaluations.
- Lead talent reviews to strengthen succession planning and leadership pipelines.
- Manage performance improvement plans for underperformers and track progress.
- Drive engagement initiatives, including organizational surveys, action planning, and leadership coaching.
- Design and conduct assessment centers for key career transitions and leadership development.
Capabilities & Requirements:
- MBA in HR with 7-10 years of experience in HR business partnering.
- At least 2+ years of experience partnering with sales teams.
- Exposure to startup environments is an advantage.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of retail (offline) go-to-market strategies.
- Expertise in HR frameworks, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to influence, build consensus, and drive ownership across teams.
