Job Title: Head of Product Development & Innovation
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion, Management or related fields
Experience: 10 -15 years in product development, category expansion, and market-driven innovation
Reporting to: Managing Director
Location: Seepz, Andheri E, Mumbai (Work from office)
Preferred Industry: Luxury, fashion, accessories, handbags, footwear, or lifestyle (NOT Jewellery)
Working Days: Mon-Sat (17 Saturdays off annually)
About the Role:
- A leading name in the diamond jewelry industry, is looking for a Senior Product Development Head to drive innovation, category expansion, and sales-driven product strategies.
- This role requires an expert in market-driven product development, preferably from fashion, accessories, handbags, or footwear industries, who can introduce cutting-edge designs and new product lines to expand business reach.
- The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to track sales performance while leading a dynamic product development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Development:
- Lead end-to-end product development for multiple categories within the diamond jewelry segment.
- Innovate new product lines by leveraging trends from fashion, accessories, and lifestyle industries.
- Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to develop unique and marketable collections.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer preferences, global trends, and competitive landscape.
Market Expansion & Business Growth:
- Develop strategies to expand business reach through product innovation and category diversification.
- Identify new market segments and growth opportunities in domestic & international markets.
- Work closely with marketing & sales teams to align product launches with consumer demand.
- Evaluate consumer buying patterns to optimize product offerings and enhance revenue streams.
Sales Performance & Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Track product-wise sales performance and adjust development strategies accordingly.
- Analyze sales data, consumer feedback, and competitive insights to refine future collections.
- Partner with retail & merchandising teams to ensure optimal pricing, demand planning, and inventory management.
Innovation & Trend Forecasting:
- Introduce cutting-edge designs and materials from other industries into the diamond jewelry market.
- Stay ahead of fashion, luxury, and lifestyle trends to create trendsetting collections.
- Explore sustainable and ethical product innovations in jewelry manufacturing.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Lead a high-performing product development team and drive creativity & efficiency.
- Collaborate with designers, suppliers, manufacturers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of product launches.
- Develop strong relationships with industry influencers, suppliers, and global trend forecasters.

- Industry Expertise: Experience in fashion, accessories, handbags, footwear, or lifestyle products.
- Product Innovation: Ability to create, expand, and reposition product lines to match market demand.
