Senior Data Warehousing Engineer - ETL/Data Pipeline (6-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure.

You will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using industry-best practices.

- Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud to build and enhance data solutions, including data modeling, segmentation, and orchestration.

- Translate complex business requirements into effective data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) within the Data Cloud ecosystem.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., business analysts, data scientists, engineers) to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

- Actively participate in data quality initiatives, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly and effectively.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data warehousing, data engineering, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in data management and engineering.

- Proven experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data modeling, integration, and orchestration.

- Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle or SQL Server).

- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies.

- Experience with cloud platforms (i.e., Marketo, Azure) and relational databases.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with Informatica products.

- Experience with Unix shell scripting, Python, and other scripting languages.

- Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks, ADLS Gen 2, and SQL Datawarehouse.

- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
