Senior Accountant (Government Contract Accounting)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage government contract accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  
• Conduct audits of government projects to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  
• Develop strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
  
• Stay up-to-date with changes in government tender processes and procedures.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience in accountancy or related field, preferably in government contract accounting.
  
• CA qualification required; additional certifications such as CMA or ICAEW would be an advantage.
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements applicable to government projects.
