Internal Auditor

Key Responsibility Areas

• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
• Determine internal audit scope and execution of audit assigned as per the Internal Audit plan
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audits results and document process
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
• Maintain open communication with management
• Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor managements interventions
• Provide assistance in annual risk assessment and finalization of Internal Audit plan
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding NBFC sectors rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards
• Willing to travel PAN India for 15-20 days in a quarter.

Other Attributes

• Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, and Tamil)
• Good analytical, critical/logical reasoning skills
• Comfortable with handling/analyzing data (Ability to analyze, interpret data)
• Proactive, self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Should have previously handled Internal Audit role in a mid to large organization.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed IA reports
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills • Sound independent judgement
