Job Description
Technology Evaluation and Implementation
- Research and evaluate emerging digital technologies for corporate manufacturing functions, considering factors such as cost, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to pilot and test solutions in real-world manufacturing environments.
- Develop implementation plans and execute the deployment of selected technologies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor and assess the performance of digital solutions, iterating and optimizing as needed to maximize value.
- Ensure solutions map and incorporate current business process requirements seamlessly
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish cross-functional project teams comprising representatives from IT, and corporate business functions to implement smart workplace solutions.
- Facilitate regular communication and feedback sessions to keep business stakeholders informed and involved in the transformation process including steercoms, program updates, risk governance, etc.
- Address concerns and resistance to change through effective communication and change management techniques.
- Build strong relationships with executive leadership to secure sponsorship and resources for digital projects.
Change Management and Organizational Readiness
- Develop change management plans that address the needs and concerns of employees at all levels of the organization.
- Provide training and support to help employees acquire the skills and knowledge needed to embrace digital tools and processes.
- Communicate the benefits of digital transformation and the impact on job roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor employee sentiment and engagement through CSAT, early user experience feedback and improvisation, adjusting strategies as needed to address challenges and barriers.
Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital transformation goals, such as productivity gains, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to evaluate progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital transformation, leveraging insights to refine strategies and approaches over time.
